PhilHealth Covers Typhoid Fever

PhilHealth President and CEO Dr. Eduardo P. Banzon said that typhoid fever is a life-threatening illness caused by Salmonella typhi that thrives on contaminated food and drinks.

PhilHealth Online Registration


To attain PhilHealth's mandate to enroll all Filipinos to the NHIP and in response to the Aquino Health Agenda on Universal Health Care, the Corporation is launching the Electronic Registration System to provide convenience and option for enrollment of an individual in the NHIP.

The facility is a web-based application and will be available to the public at no cost. This will cater to individual transactions and accommodate registration via internet as Individually Paying Member (IPM), Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW), Lifetime Member and Employed Member.

All enrollees must have their own e-mail address. They may opt to submit the necessary documentary requirements online or via postal mail. The application will be processed only upon receipt of the documentary requirements.

The PhilHealth Identification Number (PIN) will be sent through email and shall be used for all PhilHealth transactions.

Interested enrollees may visit PhilHealth's official website at https://eregister.philhealth.gov.ph The Electronic Registration System will be available starting March 1, 2012.

Bancnet, Inc. is Now PhilHealth-Accredited

Bancnet Inc. was accredited as collecting agent of PhilHealth effective March 10, 2011.  It is the first and the largest Automated Teller Machine Consortium (ATM), and is the first multi-channel electronic payment network in the country.

Employers in the government and private sectors may now pay their premium contributions through Bancnet's Electronic Payment Facility (EPF) in the following Bancnet Employer Depository Member Banks:

  1. Allied Banking Corporation
  2. Asia United Bank
  3. China Banking Corporation
  4. Citystate Savings Bank
  5. Export and Industry Bank
  6. Maybank Philippines Inc.
  7. Metropolitan Bank and Trust Co.
  8. Philippine Business Bank
  9. Philippine National Bank
  10. Philippine Veterans Bank
  11. Producers Savings Bank
  12. RCBC Savings Bank
  13. Rizal Commercial Banking Corporation
  14. Robinsons Savings Bank
  15. Rural Green Bank of Caraga, Inc.
Employers must maintain an account with the member-banks under the Bancnet before availing of the EPF. They need not to pay any transaction fee when paying through the EPF.

PhilHealth Cards ginpanagtag ni Presidente Aquino sa mga Negrosanon

Basi sa record, sadtong Desyembre 31, 2010 ang enrollment sa idalom sang Philhealth Sponsored Program sang Negros Occidental naglab-ot sa 211,536 ka "households". Ini nagarepresentar sang 34.0% sang kabilugan nga numero sang mga indigents nga narehistro sa Region VI nga may 623,265 ka tawo tanan.
